I really enjoy my weekly session with Claire and I always leave feeling more motivated than ever for my other sessions.  

Claire is supportive both in and out of my weekly session.  Regularly checking in and providing support where required. I really enjoy being coached by Claire as I feel I could contact her any day about my coaching, not just my 1 hour in person session.

It’s worth every penny because my plan is completely tailored to me and my goals. When I expressed to Claire my keen desire to get back into my running, within a couple of days she had written up a plan for me and gave me that push to get back out there!

 

I feel like Claire really wants her clients to succeed in the long term and make real life changes.

 

The knowledge Claire has to apply to you individually whether it be for fitness goals, nutrition goals or lifestyle changes is ace! 

For me the biggest thing has been learning not to be so hard on myself. Learning that it's ok to not be where I used to be but making progress slowly and being consistent has been a huge mindset shift.

I would definitely recommend Claire as a coach for people who want to change their lifestyle as a whole and that aren't just looking for a quick fix.

Before, I would always be the joker, making people laugh and not taking anything seriously. I also wasn’t admitting to myself (or anyone else) that I was a size 16 and a lot over 15 stone. I kept smaller sized clothes for years in the hope that I would fit in to them one day. 

Claire made up a training plan for me to workout at home as I have depression and anxiety and some days I struggle to leave the house. She also made a plan for the days I managed to go to the gym. To say I was pushed to the limit was an understatement, she had my legs going faster than Mo Farah! I stuck to the training and loved it, especially the strength training but also that I could continue improving my running. She checks in with you and makes adjustments if needed, this made me feel accountable for every training session planned.

I really like how Claire explains and demonstrates everything and I love the buzz I get after a training session with her - she really gets into your head and believes you can do things no matter how out of reach they seem to be.  

 

The results? Well, I’ve lost weight, got in shape, have definition, feel healthier and I feel strong... really, really strong! In the beginning I was running 2 minutes and walking 2 minutes and now I can run 10KM’s and half marathons. Those clothes I had been holding on to are now in the bin as they are too big for me.

Starting with Claire was the best decision I have ever made since having my children. I started 6 months after having my third child and embarked on an incredible journey. What a change I've had, I’m fitter than I have ever been. If it wasn’t for Claire I wouldn’t have contemplated, never mind completed, the London Marathon.

I turned 40 last year and have an active 5 year old. When she was learning to ride her bike and I was running to keep up with her out of breath something had to change. 

What a change I've had, I'm never going to be a size 10 but what Claire has done is make me fitter than I have ever been. Yes she works you hard but the benefits are unbelievable - I can do a proper push up, two cardio classes back to back and enjoy exercising.

 

Claire has given me the belief that I can push myself to achieve what I never thought was possible.

 

If it wasn’t for Claire I won’t have contemplated never mind complete the London Marathon, she goes the extra mile and when you don’t think you can there is always the text of encouragement and the high 5 and the at the end of it.

Being a runner before and during pregnancy I wanted to make sure I was returning to exercise in the safest way.

​

I started training with Claire after having my daughter in 2020. Being a runner before and during pregnancy I wanted to make sure I was returning to exercise in the safest way and as a pre/post natal trainer and a runner herself, Claire was the perfect choice. She helped me build back strength in a controlled way whilst also challenging me when she knew I was capable, even if I didn't! 

Now as a working mum, I look forward to the hour of my week spent training in the gym, it's an hour to spend working on myself and I always leave grateful and pleased with what I've achieved in the session.

Claire is a very supportive coach. She's encouraging,  promotes exercise and nutrition in a healthy way and is generally a lovely person to work with.

I’d worked with an online strength and conditioning coach before, but never on a one-to-one basis. I was fortunate to experience both the in-person sessions and online with Claire. Claire was extremely accommodating from the start and was able to be flexible with how we approached my training. We discussed what my goals were and she was able to put a plan in place. She also shares a wealth of nutrition information, which was very interesting and useful.

Claire made me feel very comfortable and at ease whilst training in her gym. Claire was able to give me the confidence and encouragement to train that bit harder than I might have on my own in the gym. Claire was also very honest in our sessions.  If there was an exercise in the plan that, once observing, she didn’t feel was right for me she would make adaptions or swap it for a more suitable one. There was always an alternative! I appreciated that guidance, support and knowledge.

This all made moving to online training very easy. The app is simple to use, and works well.  I know that getting in touch with her to share/ask anything (achievements, uncertainties, videos etc) is not a problem. In fact, it’s encouraged. 

​

With the online training, I really like the way Claire gives feedback to clients weekly, with a short video message. It’s nice to see and hear her giving you encouragement & words of advice. It’s a really nice touch, that I’m sure not all online coaches would offer. I also looked forward to our monthly feedback call.

​

Claire is a warm, positive, fun and very knowledgeable coach, with lots of good chat! I’ve certainly learnt a lot from working with her.  I would certainly recommend her to friends, who are looking to learn, gain confidence or simply just add a different dimension to their strength training.
